Operational draft
This document is a high-quality operational draft prepared before launch. It is not legal advice and has not yet completed professional legal review. Website policy version 2026-11-06.
1. Who operates PayPlea
Information pending: Operator legal name, identifier and postal address
You can reach us through the contact page.
2. Eligibility
PayPlea is only for people aged 18 or older. You confirm your age by declaration. We may restrict accounts where we have reason to believe a user is a minor.
3. Your account and truthful information
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and not create accounts for other people without their authority. Requesters must provide additional real information, which stays private.
4. Public content and your rights
Display name, profile photo, country, biography, requests, stories, goals, aggregate progress, comments and badges can be public. You keep ownership of your content and grant PayPlea a non-exclusive licence to host, display and moderate it to operate the service. You must have the rights to anything you post.
5. Requests and moderation
Requests are reviewed before publication and may be rejected, changed or removed. Publication does not guarantee that anyone will help.
6. External payment links
Transfers happen with independent providers under their own terms, fees, availability, limits and reversibility rules. PayPlea does not hold recipient funds, is not a party to any transfer and cannot reverse or refund one.
7. No charity or tax-deduction claim
PayPlea is not a charity. Help sent between members and support purchases are not represented as tax-deductible.
8. Declarations, receipts and status
“Pending review” means a declaration has not yet been reviewed. “Confirmed” means a contribution passed review. Review is not a cryptographic confirmation from the provider. Submitting false declarations or evidence is prohibited.
9. Prohibited conduct
You must follow the community guidelines and acceptable use policy.
10. Reports, blocking, removal, suspension and appeals
You can report and block. We can hide content, reject requests, suspend accounts and retain moderation evidence where legally justified. You will be told the reasons where required and can appeal. See content moderation.
11. Developer-support purchases
Optional consumable in-app purchases support development and unlock nothing. They are processed by Apple or Google under their terms. Refunds and revocations may remove associated badges.
12. Intellectual property and trademarks
The PayPlea name, logo and software belong to their owner. Third-party names such as PayPal, Revolut, Cash App and Venmo belong to their owners; no affiliation is implied.
13. Changes, suspension and termination
We may change or discontinue features. You may stop using PayPlea at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.
14. Disclaimers and liability
PayPlea is provided with reasonable care but without a guarantee that requests are genuine or that help will arrive. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer law.
15. Governing law
Information pending: Governing law and jurisdiction (pending professional review)
